Sandi Rogers
Sandi Rogers is a qualified Medical Herbalist, Naturopath, Reflexognosist, Lecturer, Massage Therapist, and Founder & Chief Executive Officer of the National College of Traditional Medicine. She naturally takes a wholistic approach to healing.
Boasting an impressive educational background, Sandi has a Masters in Education and Training, more than a dozen diplomas in natural therapies and is currently studying for her Doctoral Degree.
Having published many papers and authored books on complementary medicine, Sandi is also in demand on the corporate speaking circuit with engagements both nationally and internationally.
Christa Faig
Christa is a medical herbalist, naturopath, nutritionalist, massage therapist and lecturer. Christa has been in clinical practice for 7 years. She currently practices at South Oakleigh and at the National College of Traditional Medicine.
Christa has converted her suburban garden into a produce garden entirely of fruit and vegetables and also therapeutic and culinary herbs. She is devoted to her two dogs, one of which is an Australian champion.
Ann Beck
Ann has 10 years experience in private practice as a Consultant Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist. For the past few years she has worked with the crisis support services in counseling and training. She is a senior lecturer and member of the examination & assessment board in Diplomas of Clinical Hypnotherapy, Community Welfare and Counselling.
Ann is involved with the faculty of Hypnobirthing Institute USA, is a national Sleeptalk for children trainer and coach, facilitator of mens groups through the child protection agency and trains trainers and therapists in areas around risk assessment, men and separation Ann is also involved as a trainer and mentor with the National Internships of the Mens Cultural Exchange Program with Mensline Australia.
Dani Simmonds
Dani Simmonds worked as a medical scientist for thirty years, during which time she specialised in microbiology, mycology, virology and serology.
Over the last fifteen years, Dani has been studying many aspects of the horse.
She participated in TTEAM clinics, became involved in Natural Horsmanship, studied Equine Myofunctional Therapy at the National College of Traditional Medicine, has studied Homeopathy, Equine Craniosacral therapy, with further study in barefoot trimming and equine acupuncture on the horizon.
Together with Caroline Hamilton, Carol Morely and Chrisann Ware, Dani created the saddle-fit video, Free to Move with their business Freehorse Productions hoping to produce more educational videos in the future.
Leslie Williamson
Since 1995 Leslie has worked professionally as a Qualified Freelance Horse Riding Instructor with Classical Dressage as her favourite discipline. In 1999 Leslie graduated from the National College of Traditional Medicine with a certificate in Equine Myofunctional Therapy and in 2000 she was invited by the college to train a s a lecturer.
Leslie's other passion in life is the world of Dance. She has worked professionally, owned her own dance school and has been teaching for 21yrs.
Each day whether she's teaching dance, instructing at riding club or lecturing on the EMT course, she's faced with muscles and their quality of movement and is a great advocate on the benefits of Myofunctional Therapy.
Lisa Handley
Lisa Handley graduated with a certificate in Equine Myofunctional Therapy from the National College of Traditional Medicine in 2001. She has her own professional Equine Myofunctional Therapy business (Equine Muscle Management), massaging all Equine disciplines. In 2003 Lisa joined the team of lecturers, she also works part time as the colleges student liaison officer and has recently completed the Equine Nutrition Certificate.
Jane Myers
Jane Myers has a Masters degree in Equine Science and has spent the last seven years teaching Equine Studies at the University of Melbourne (Glenormiston College).
She is an executive member of the Association for Horsemanship Safety and Education (AHSE), is one of the trustees of the Australian Horse Industry Council (AHIC), the national umbrella body of the Horse Industry and is a former working group member (representing horses) of the Australian Animal Welfare Strategy (AAWS), a five-year government initiative via DAFF.
Jane is the author of two books; Managing Horses on Small Properties and Horse Safe and she is co-author of Horse Sense (2nd edition) all published by CSIRO and is now running her own business called Equiculture where she runs clinics and workshops on a variety of subjects including sustainable property management.
Joane Goulding
As an educator for some 30 years, with extensive experience in Stress Management and Nutrition, Joane has specialized in the Biopsychosocial aspect of Stress and Mind Management. She has published many papers and lectured throughout
In 1998 Joane was awarded a Fellowship for services to the science of Hypnosis by the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists which acknowledged her contribution to the science of hypnosis and changes to the Victorian Psychological Practices Act. An approved supervisor, mentor and lecturer for the hypnosis industry, Joane is also a master hypnotist, lecturer and examiner for the American Council of Hypnotic Examiners. The English International Biographical Directory 1987 records Joane was awarded a Distinguished Achievement award and The American Biographical Institute recognized her Outstanding Service to the Healing Profession. Joane is a qualified Psychonutritionalist and innovator of numerous Psychonutritional diagnostic questionnaires and procedures and was in private practice for many years.
